Catfish Voodoo on Live Sunday Session this week

Electric Blues band Catfish Voodoo promise to be an exceptional guest on this weeks Live Sunday Sessions. Consisting of Aaron Gillett (harmonica and bottleneck), Julian Byrne (vocals and acoustic guitar), Ben Gerrard (drums), and Jordan Hyde (bass), Catfish Voodoo keeps their sound deeply rooted in the early 50’s Chicago-blues scene. Playing  original material and putting their own spin of classic blues songs such as Smokestack lightnin’ and Boogie Chillun’ Catfish Voodoo have a high energy, low-down boogie sound, which is sure to remind one of a Smokey 1950’s Juke-Joint. Playing around town at the moment, if you can’t “do yourselves a favour” and go see them in the flesh then tune in on Sunday afternoon for this very special treat live to air from 4pm on 88.3. In the immortal/immoral words of Bob “The Bear” Hite of Canned Heat fame, “And don’t forget to boogie……….boogie……….boogie”.
