JULES BOULT AND BAND ON LIVE SUNDAY SESSIONS……THIS WEEK!!!

Jules Boult has developed an excellent reputation on the Melbourne scene as one of Australian music’s best storytellers. Whilst largely classified as a blues & roots performer, those descriptions are too succinct. Drawing on influences from yesteryear and from blues, roots, jazz, country and even a little soul the musical chameleon can wow any crowd with his live performances from St.Kilda to Mississippi to New Orleans to Nashville and all the way back to Mentone with an interesting take on everything from Eric Clapton and Leonard Cohen song interpretations “Boult” style through to his own individual original material. Solo, duos or collectives are all normal for JB. This Sunday the multi instrumentalist will have his band in tow for a highly anticipated Live Sunday Sessions set in the infamous number 2 studio so we don’t know what to anticipate other than “something good”. With four CD releases including the excellent quirky “Almost Alone” release from 2012 and another in the can and due for release in the coming weeks this performance will be Bruce McAvaney “special” so tune in and enjoy and check out more of Jules Boult here:-
