Radio Ga Ga This Week – 1985

Katrina & The Waves, David Hasselhoff, Depeche Mode, Howard Jones, Thompson Twins and Foreigner were in the charts, we were going to see Back To The Future, Cocoon, The Breakfast Club, Mask and The Colour Purple at the cinema and they were only up to Police Academy 2 and Rocky IV.  Nelson Mandela told the South African Government to keep their freedom, Ronald Reagan was President of the United States, Keira Knightley, Michael Phelps, Leisel Jones and Katy Perry were born, the USA cared about Africa and a TV show called “Neighbours” starts on Channel 7 but they axe it after 6 months and sell the rights to Channel 10. All this and a bunch of other good stuff will be the focus on Radio Ga Ga this Saturday morning from 10am.
