A highlight of the celebrations will be cooking features, demonstrations and tastings. Restauranteurs and caterers will be mixing it up with community cooks and hospitality students to deliver a continuous stream of cooking entertainment and storytelling throughout the day.

Meanwhile, guest speakers will be exploring our global food supply, including genetic engineering, ethical eating, local community resilience and global food security perspectives. Plus tune into documentaries on hot topics around how we feed our planet’s growing billions.

If you’re hankering to ‘grow your own’, local food growers will entice yout to put your stake in the ground through gardening activities for kids and adults alike. And to those with a harvest: please bring your surplus along to our food swap & share marquee!

Other features include vendors area (hook up to the organic co-op or pick up some seedlings or fair trade coffee), plus the chance to win generous raffle prizes like a $100 restaurant voucher for some seriously good ecotucker at Slow Down at Harley Court. *All raffle proceeds will be contributed to CARE Australia.
