The BiPolar Bears are one of Victoria’s rock’n’roll institutions – playing their own brand of rock, reggae and blues to audiences for over 16 years. The BiPolar Bears music speaks of the band member’s life and experiences, sometimes pure hedonistic rock and at others a powerful expression of life’s challenges. Songs lyrics like “I’m not schitzophrenic, I’m just paranoid, so why don’t you all, go take a Polaroid” … The Bears have collaborated on songwriting and performances with some of Australia’s iconic music artists including Tim Rogers (You Am I), Ross Hannaford (Daddy Cool), Pete Satchell (Dallas Crane), Russell Morris and of course our good friend Heidi Everett.
The Bears new EP “So Real” features 5 original songs and now available at Pure Pop Records 221 Barkly St, St Kilda, directly through their website http://www.bipolarbears.com.au, online everywhere and in all good record stores.
