This Sunday’s Live Sunday Session Presents

Mr.Alex Formosa Baudo and his band are this weeks special guests with a difference. We will be bringing this baby to you live from the Mordialloc Sports Club so if you can’t get there and be a part of a rocking gig, turn on your tranny at 4pm to take us up on the second best option. Alex Formosa Baudo first came into prominence in 1992 to the release of his debut solo record “Alex Formosa.” Two of this album’s pieces, “River of Gold” and “Backstreet Girl,” became top-twenty Canadian hits. In 2008 Alex released a new CD titled “Bilingual Sessions,” which is a collection of covers and originals, sung in both English and Italian. It includes Italian interpretations of some Australian classic songs like “Man of Colours” by Iva Davies, “The Party’s Over” by Cold Chisel’s Don Walker and “Here Am I” by Marc Hunter and Alan Mansfield from Dragon. In 2011, Alex released his third album titled “Mister Alex Formosa Baudo,” which quickly became a favorite of both presenters & listeners of Southern FM.  Don’t miss the chance to dance, either with a fun crowd in person at Mordialloc on Sunday or around your own loungeroom while you listen to amazing Mr.Baudo!!
