Alli Harding back with South of the River tomorrow at 2pm

Join Alli Harding tomorrow when she meets a Salvadoran mother and daughter who have settled in bayside Melbourne thanks to an extraordinary program that sees everyday Australians supporting refugees.

The Community Refugee Integration and Settlement Pilot (CRISP) enables local groups of five or more people to welcome and support a refugee family from their first day in Australia – tune in to find out more, including how you can help if you’re interested.

Alli will also chat with Simon Gaites, her co-leader at 3191 Beach Patrol, about the new container deposit scheme that rewards Victorians with a 10-cent refund for every eligible can, carton and bottle they return.

There will be plenty of great music as well and some chatter about the week that’s been.
