Bayside beaches reveal window into life 5 million years ago
Next time you’re strolling along the beach at Beaumaris, keep your eyes peeled for prehistoric sharks, whales, seals and birds. Dr Erich Fitzgerald, Museums Victoria’s Senior Curator of Vertebrate Palaeontology spoke with Hear and There presenter Nathan Reynolds about the amazing fossils being discovered as part of the Lost Worlds of Bayside project.
