Live Sunday Sessions
“It started as a very nice way to host artists and bands and to allow them do more than the run of the mill interview and a track or two. But the Live Sunday Sessions became not only a way to give them an opportunity to play but also a fantastic way of letting an artist or group make their own personal musical statement.
Last Sunday we spent an absolutely delightful afternoon with Anita, Dan and Catherine, AKA The Anita George Trio. Beautifully crafted lyrics, fabulous instrumentation and soaring vocals with some great harmonies was the order of the day as guitar, violin and cello took centre stage along with a hint of glockenspiel and a cheeky bit of harmonica. Flamenco kings Malcura joined us in the studio a couple of weeks back and wowed us with their smorgasboard of instrumental gifts.
