Mark Wirtz had a long & successful career as a music producer. Best known for his classic “Teenage Opera” hit single & the one & only highly acclaimed 1968 Tomorrow album, featuring future Yes guitarist Steve Howe.

In the early 1960s Mark Wirtz became music director for the legendary Marlene Dietrich taking over from Burt Bacharach, & later on in the 60’s he became in-house producer at EMI Records at Abbey Road Studios, London, where the contemporaneous Beatles recorded.

In the 1970s Mark Wirtz produced such diverse acts as: Helen Reddy, Leon Russell, Kim Carnes, Dean Martin and Anthony Newley.
