  • Hi Nick Black, It’s Tues. 23rd Feb here in the UK as a hear your excellent podcast of Sparks via a link on The Electric Prunes facebook group page.

I have been a Sparks follower since 1974 and I’m approaching my 55th year as me. I admired your enthusiasm and knowledge of the Mael’s history. I hope you might one fine day do a special podcast on the US band Concrete Blonde, as formed by former Sparks bass player (from the Bearsville albums, Jim Mankey and Johnette Napolitano. All of their studio albums had at one level or another Earle Mankey involved in the production of those albums.

Anyway Nick, job well done mate 🙂
    Richard the pom 😉
