Talking dinosaur fossils and rare books on South of the River with Alli Harding this Sunday

Join Alli Harding this Sunday afternoon when she chats to two people who love to find exciting objects – rare books and dinosaurs!

Alli will be joined in the studio by Douglas Stewart, who runs Fine Books in High Street, Armadale, and is President of the Australian and New Zealand Association of Antiquarian Booksellers. The association hosts the Rare Book Fair, which is on in Melbourne from July 27 to July 29.

Alli will also meet palaeontologist Ben Francischelli, who will give the lowdown on some of the most incredible creatures that have ever lived (right here in and around Port Phillip Bay!). This is a must-listen for any kids who are into fossils as well. (Ben’s the one in the photo looking delighted to be holding holding a set of jaws from a small killer sperm whale collected from Beaumaris.)

Alli will be playing some great tracks too, so grab a cuppa and enjoy the show from 2pm to 4pm.
