Alli Harding interviewed tourism expert Amy Gardner (left) on Friday 13 February about her aim to help seniors explore all the city has to offer.

Alli and Amy chatted about their own favourite places in Melbourne and surrounds, and just how affordable and accessible many trips and attractions can be – if you know when to go.

Amy started her website a few years ago after spending every weekend for a year visiting suburbs and sights with her Bellarine-based parents, Chris and Terrie.

“There are a lot of misconceptions around the ‘seniors’ demographic and I want to combat that,” she says. “The retirees I’ve been meeting are very adaptable, active, and interested in exploring.”
