WHAT THE WORLD NEEDS NOW – EPISODE 33 – INSPIRATION

In the third episode of a special “3 Sundays in Summer” series, Cindy Sullivan interviews Gayelene Carbis, an award-winning writer of poetry, prose, short film, and plays. Cindy and Gayelene discuss the idea that ‘what the world needs now’ is INSPIRATION.

In this episode, Gayelene reads a poem from her first collection ‘Anecdotal Evidence’. Gayelene’s second book ‘I Have Decided to Remain Vertical’ was recently a finalist in two international wards – International Best Book Award (US) and Poetry Book Awards, UK 2023. Gayelene teaches Creative Writing in universities and community programs. She also works as a writing mentor, manuscript assessor and editor.
