Talking collectables with Alli Harding and Jess Hardy – podcast available
Jess Hardy has loved all things vintage since she was a little girl exploring her grand
parents’ basement, which was full of retro treasures.
As a registered secondhand dealer, she is now living her best life after opening her Moorabbin shop, Southside Collector, where she sells everything from furniture, crockery and tablecloths to toys, records, and all sorts of oddities, mainly from the 1940s to the 1970s.
Jess (pictured front, with Alli Harding) is always keen to hear from people who are downsizing, managing deceased estates, or have simply decided it’s time to say farewell to those orange, green and purple 1970s treasures.
Alli Harding interviewed Jess on South of the River on Friday 10 October, where they discussed what makes retro items so special – and some strange experiences Jess has had in finding and gathering her goodies.
Southside Collector is at 3/171 Chesterville Rd, Moorabbin. Follow her on Facebook, instagram, and Tik Tok.
