This week ‘Built For Speed’ joins Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon on another culinary journey as we review ‘The Trip to Spain’. On a slightly different note we take a look at Doug Liman’s latest film, Iraq war drama ‘The Wall’. Once again we have a feast of great music with new Aussie tracks, indie rock favourites from the early 2000’s, tunes that shaped and were shaped by hip hop and much more. Don’t forget our regular preview of gigs and TV for the week. Check out ‘Built For Speed’, Friday 8-10pm on 88.3 Southern FM.
The year is screaming past at an alarming rate but this week on Built For Speed we thought we’d turn the clock back the other way and take a look at the music of previous decade. Yes, Built For Speed plays their favourites from the years 2001 – 2010 including The White Stripes, The Shins, Interpol, The Libertines and Aussie artists like Little Birdy and The Pictures. It’ll be a music feast and with less talk this week but we will break from the tunes to review the latest film for Ryan Gosling “The Place Beyond the Pines”. Check out Built For Speed, Friday 8-10pm on 88.3 Southern FM.
