Canadian Faye Blais is not only a talented performer with soul but is also a charming and toasty warm individual. You can catch both sides of Faye in the 1 hour podcast of her Live Sunday Session from the 28th April with Mark Missen by clicking on the play button below as she churns out some live tracks in the studio and chats about her career and plans for the future, and….what a great voice!!!
Canadian Faye Blais is spreading her new material around the globe, on a series of International Tours. Detailed as “continuing the thread started by Joni, picked up by Ani and fashioned by Feist”, Faye’s songwriting, presence and personality are showcased beautifully through her impressive jazzy-bluesy folk style, on acoustic and electric guitars, and keys, with stunning, dynamic vocals.
As a full-time musician over the past seven years, Faye has spent half of her time in countries other than her homeland, recording and touring her albums throughout New Zealand, Taiwan, the USA and Australia, where she now spends plenty of time as she makes the trek each year to breathe in the “alternative” climate. Throughout her years around the globe, Faye has become a folk festival fan favorite as well as featuring in compilation albums and placements in Web and TV worldwide (including productions by Australian Red Cross and the Oak Tree Foundation).
