Round 6 games were played out to completion in nearly every contest in SECA on Saturday despite average weather. Some absolute thrillers and some outstanding individual efforts marked the day. Round 5 Shield grade matches finally got played and everyone got on the park this weekend. Day One of Round 5 matches was obliterated by bad weather but the panel got together on Sunday morning to assess how the Shield grade teams are shaping up and they took a look into the vital next few rounds before Xmas. Below media player has the podcast of this weeks show.

This week only round 4 shield matches were played with all of the other grades having Cup weekend off but the SECA Panel were there on Sunday morning and caught up with Bentleigh Uniting’s Campbell James after his superb match winning century against West Bentleigh and former SECA President and Hampton United doyen and club historian Russell Moore came in

Round 3 shield matches were played and all of the other grades hit up round 2 matches in perfect conditions on Saturday and the SECA Panel were there on Sunday morning to go through the highlights including talking to player of the round Bentleigh ANA’s Tim Scott after his magnificent century and Bentleigh Uniting’s premiership skipper Lukas Galanopoulos.
