Southern FM newsman Colin Tyrus had a personal connection with a story on his program on Monday 4 December 2023. His father Wladyslaw was one of thousands of post-war migrants who took the train from Melbourne’s Station Pier to Bonegilla Migrant Camp, near Albury-Wodonga.
