  • What a waste. An unstable ex-marine with a $20 Rifle.

I’ll just make a quick comment.

The Bay of Pigs was a make up call to JFK as to dealing later with “expert” advice, be it the CIA or Military.

His dealings in the Cuban Missile crisis were shaped by a mistrust of establishment rhetoric and the crazy ideas of wiping out the Soviets, but sustaining millions of American casualties.

Vietnam, who knows?. But with his cautious approach militarily, I personally doubt that he would have committed US forces like Johnston did.
