Purple Haze presenter Mark Copolov has secured this exclusive and rare interview with Abbey Road recording engineer Richard Langham. Richard was a second sound recording engineer at Abbey Road Studios, working with the Beatles from 1963-1964, then again from 1969-1970.
Richard helped record all the incredible songs that will be heard in the broadcast.
Richard also, during his long career, worked with Cliff Richard & the Shadows, Paul McCartney, Judy Garland, Marlene Dietrich, Noel Coward, Shirley Bassey, Ella Fitzgerald and many other great recording artists.
