A century after the end of World War One, Australia pauses on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month to pay its respects to the men and women who served Australia in all wars and overseas military missions.
This is the story of six brothers who went to war. Five came home, including Colin’s grandfather William “Bill” McGillivray. To find out more about the McGillivray brothers and their service in World War One, Colin spoke to David McGillivray.

From one newsman to another… Here’s Mal

Legendary TV newsman Mal Walden was guest speaker at the launch of Bayside Seniors Festival 2018. This excerpt from his speech was played on 88.3 Southern FM’s “A Newsman and his Music” after the 10 AM news on Monday 8 October 2018.
The program presenter is another retired newsman who’s known by the catchphrase “Tyrus is the name… news is the game”. Colin added the archival material to Mal’s original address to the launch function.
