LIVE SUNDAY SESSIONS – TRAVIS WINTERS BAND

The LIVE SUNDAY SESSIONS return this Sunday after a cricketing hiatus and boy oh boy do we have a show for you. Travis Winters is a Melbourne Blues guitarist and singer, performing original material along with personal arrangements of favourites and obscurities. Performing as a trio Travis and the boys have been definitely making a bit of noise on the local blues scene as a traditional trio but they are anything but traditional. With Winters vocals sweeping between as rough and earthy as gravel to soulfully sweet you would be an April fool to miss what will inevitably be an awesome live in the studio one hour set from 4-5pm this Sunday 2nd April. In the meantime check out what they are all about here:-

KEGGIN PODCAST FROM LIVE SUNDAY SESSIONS

Keggin unashamedly are a drinking band. Their songs are all dedicated to drinking or types of drink. They do have a massively concerning infatuation with the goon, but hey, we all have our little intricacies. At any rate, their Live Sunday Session on the 18th of December was definitely something we had not experienced before on LSS.
Below is the podcast of the show. These guys rock.

DEGREES OF SEPARATION LSS PODCAST

Degrees Of Separation are an outstanding live act and were kind enough to visit the SFM studios on December 11th and lived up to their reputation with a brilliant 1 hour live set. Shades of Queen and Van Halen and all done in their own hard style, the quartet are fine musicians individually but as a collective – they rock. Take a listen on this podcast of the show, better yet, get out and see a gig.

THE ROMEO KNIGHTS LIVE SUNDAY SESSION PODCAST

The Romeo Knights rock hard and demonstrated it beautifully as they gave us rather neat preview of their full album release due out in early 2017 on the LIVE SUNDAY SESSIONS on the 4th December. Adam, Sam & Luke are all accomplished musicians and have been diligently laying the foundation for what sounds like it will be a ripper release. Click on the below play button to hear the noise and enjoy a stunning live set.

TANYA GEORGE LIVE SUNDAY SESSION PODCAST

She is young but very experienced and has a voice to die for and she displayed it in all of it’s undiluted glory in the SFM studios on November 20th along with some of her band boys as she previewed her brand new release “The Lie” with a stripped back accoustic version as well as the awesome and haunting studio version just released. We even got Tanya to do a couple of verses of the national anthem acapella style. Check it out here on this hour long podcast.
