This Saturday morning from 10am on the award winning Radio Ga Ga, tune in to hear a plethora of great tunes that have been used in television advertising over the years. Some are famous from the ads they were used for such as Feist’s 1,2,3,4 which gained popularity through being used to advertise Apple, some had regenerations after being used in advertisements such as Sam Cooke’s “Wonderful World” which reached #27 on the charts on it’s first go around in the early 1960’s but hit the #2 spot in 1986 after being used to promote Levi 501 jeans and some you will be mighty surprised to find were used for such a “sell out” purpose such as Elvis Presley’s “Viva Las Vegas” promoting the Pfizer drug company product Viagra in it’s early days!!! All great tunes and lots of fun facts and trivia is the perfect way to start Saturday for those who have managed to sleep in that long!!!
